This was my first time at the Castleknock Hotel.
I was there for the weekday early bird special offer at the Park restaurant. The Park Restaurant was recently awarded an AA Rosette Award in February 2009 for its excellence in food and service under the guidance of Executive Head Chef, Lewis Bannerman. The restaurant is open from 9-5pm Monday to Friday and the menu is changed daily for choice for diners. Current special offers include 1 night B&B with free wine from 55 pp.
There are lots of interesting places to visit near the hotel including Dublin zoo, the Phoenix Park, Rathborne shopping center, the Blanchardstown center, and many more things.
Castleknock Hotel & Country Club have received the Green Hospitality Silver Award standard for their commitment to improving environmental procedures within the hotel. This included recycling efforts and considerable reduction in water and energy consumption. This is part of Castleknock's overall strategy to be one of the most environmentally friendly hotels in Ireland and follows their recent Chambers Ireland award for 'Best Eco Business 2008'.
The venue comes highly recommended for weddings and other corporate functions/receptions.
